#AGGF2018 Event: Africa Green Growth Investment Forum

Background

The Africa Green Growth Investment Forum will be the centerpiece of the Africa Green Growth Forum. The one day event will bring together leaders from government, the private sector and civil society to explore the opportunities for green growth across the continent and chart a course for harnessing these opportunities.

The event will be an opportunity for investors to discuss investment ideas and the overall investment climate from key national and regional players, investment promotion specialists and green and climate responsive businesses currently operating nationally and in the region.

Innovative green growth financing mechanisms such as green bonds, climate bonds and green banks will be discussed through experts panels on the opportunities and barriers for Investing in green growth in Africa. To ensure complementary partners hold fruitful engagements, participants have the opportunity to select and match partners with mutual interests and personally meet through ‘Business-to-Business’ meetings.
